  • What happens with bad weather?

Safety is our number one priority no exceptions. Weather is very unpredictable on the Great Lakes, from strong pop up lake effect storms, to strong winds (Erie is capable of producing waves in excess of 15' if the conditions are right). We Start to see a picture of the weather forecast about a week in advance, so we will reach out to discuss the possible weather conditions before you start your travel.

Weather cancelations are at the Captains discretion and they are final (sometimes a delay in our departure is all that is needed). Please understand that we want to take you fishing as much as you want to go, but if the conditions are unsafe they are just that and its out of our control.

If your trip does get canceled due to weather, you will be issued a refund or we will look to reschedule later in the year or the following year, this will be your choice to make

Trips will not be canceled due to rain, the fish don't care if it is raining they are already wet so please pack rain gear just in case.
